Registering on ClixSense
If your account remains inactive for 90 days without logging in, it will be shut down. Your earnings will be lost but your referrals will remain. Hence it is important to access your account in less than 90 days to avoid this.
Viewing Ads
Earning from clicking ads could be done all in a few minutes. Basically what you have to do is to click on an ad panel, and an array of pictures will appear. Select the picture containing a cat which will present you with a timer and an advertisement. The timer will begin to clock down for an allocated number of seconds and once completed, you will be credited for it. The earning potential depends on the timer's seconds which range from the minimum of 3 seconds up to the maximum of 60 seconds.
Completing Surveys

You will not qualify all the time, but earning from surveys on ClixSense is one of the best ways of accumulating cash.You could easily receive cash between $0.70 to $5.00 for just a few minutes of your time.
Completing Offers
ClixSense provides its users with a number of offers to earn from in which of them needs you to perform a particular action. For example, listening to a radio station for a certain time, signing up to sites, playing casino games, downloading content, watching videos and etc.
Once completed, you will be credited.
Completing Tasks
There are many different small tasks such as verification checks, categorization, content generation etc offered by CrowdFlower through ClixSense. You can earn an elegant amount from accomplishing these tasks as you get paid more handsomely than by simply clicking ads. At first, the tasks available will not pay as much but as you gradually complete these type of tasks , ones with a greater earning potential would soon be accessible.For each $50 in earnings received from tasks, you gain an extra $5 as a bonus.

The ClixGrid is similar to a jackpot draw. You have to click on a vacant box within the grid which will direct you to an ad that will require you to select the image containing a cat. A 10 (or 5 if premium member) second timer will commence countdown. After the timer reaches 0, you will be informed whether or not you have won or lost.
Prizes that are up for grabs are cash between $0.10 up to $10.00 or extra chances to play. Standard members are supplied with 30 chances per day with a 10 second timer and premium members with 60 chances with a 5 second timer.
Referrals
The most challenging but most rewarding part of Clixsense has got to be its affiliate system which allows you to have a downline up to 8 levels. There is absolutely no limit to the number of direct referrals you could gain. Once you have these referrals, you will never lose them but do keep in mind that if a referral is not active for 30 days, its status will transgress to inactive.
These are the benefits of having direct referrals:
• You will earn between $0.0001 to $0.0020 (depending on the type of ad clicked) if you're a standard member and between $0.0001 to $0.0040 if you're a premium member from your referral clicks.
• Standard members earn 5% and premium members earn 10% from referrals' completed tasks and offers.
• Standard members earn $0.50 for each referral that has accumulated a sum of $10.00 and premium members earn $1.00 for each referral that has accumulated a sum of $5.00.
• $2.00 for both standard and premium members on their first level of their downline for each referral that has upgraded their account to premium membership and $1.00 for premium member's level 2-8 referrals that has upgraded to premium membership.
It is also important to note that there is no option to purchase rented referrals.
Daily Checklist Bonus
The checklist bonus doesn't really acquire you to do additional types of work but it is worth completing as you will get paid extra on your earnings for completing each milestone stipulated in the list.The milestones that are listed include:

There is also the 2 new milestones from which you could earn extra bonuses from:
• The ClixAddon extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera Mini (which notifies the ClixSense user of any available tasks, ads, surveys etc.) milestone can be accomplished by simply running it for 60 minutes.
• An Activity Bonus, which requires you to complete the Daily Checklist Bonus previously for 3 times.
Each of these two milestones awards you 1% each for standard members and 2% for premium members increasing your percentages from 5% to 7% for standard members and from 12% to 16% for premium members.
When you have completed the checklist and the reset time has passed (05h:00 EST), a message stating that you have met the minimum requires will be displayed below the checklist as well as the bonus you have received.
Upgrading
Upgrading to premium membership is not a must, but it is recommended because of the benefits that will allow an even greater earning potential especially in terms of the affiliate system.These benefits include:

The forum section of ClixSense is an area where you could pick up useful tips, ask questions, show others your earnings or simply browse through for interest sake. In doing so, you could automatically complete the milestone of viewing the forum for the day though it is not necessary to read any part of the forum but just a simple access to it will check it to complete.The first few posts are moderated from the ClixSense team and after a few posts, you will have the option in liking other member's posts.
Payment Processors And Cashouts
Currently, there are 3 types of payment processors available to choose from. When reaching the minimum amount to cashout (explained below) and you decide to cash out the earnings you have accumulated, a small percentage is deducted from it.
Payment processors and cash deductions are as follows:
• Paypal: Standard membership minimum cashout amount is $8.00 while premium membership amount is $6.00 and cashout fee is 2% up to $1.00 for the USA and 2% up to $20.00 for the rest of the world.
• PayToo: $8.00 for standard membership and $6.00 for premium membership. Cashout fee is free.
• Check: $10.00 for both memberships and cashout fee is $1.00, first cashout is free of charge.
Electronic cashout times are processed on Monday and Friday afternoons each week before 17h:00 EST. It is strongly advised to cash out in advanced, before 14h:00 on Monday or Friday to guarantee that you will receive your cashout on that same day.
Checks are sent once a month before or on the 10th of each month. If you have chosen to cashout via check, you will have to cashout before the 7th in order for it to be processed before the 10th. Checks are valid for 60 days.
Conclusion
From one of the many factors that people are trying to avoid is being scammed by ponzi sites that refuses to pay when a member has accumulated a good amount of cash. When I first started out on ClixSense, I too were skeptical if the site would really pay out what is due to me through my efforts. Through research, members of ClixSense strongly encouraged not to cashout when you have reached the minimum amount but to save up to upgrade the account when you have reached $17.00. Just to clear the doubt, I had ignored the advice and cashed out when I reached $10.92. (see Fig. 10)
